The 2nd Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Renewable Energy Ministerial Meeting will be held from 2 – 4 October 2018 at Delhi-NCR, India. It will be jointly organised by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of the Government of India, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Indian Ocean Rim Association IORA. It will coincide with the First Assembly of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and the 2nd Global RE-INVEST, Renewable Energy Investors’ Meet & Expo.
The MNRE will host a Welcome Dinner at 2000 IST on 2 October 2018. All IORA delegates are cordially invited.
Business attire is recommended. English will be the working language for the Meetings.
Invitations have been extended to Ministers responsible for Renewable Energy in each IORA Member State, with a request to participate in the event along with an accompanying Expert. Please note that Expert-level participation is essential for the IORA Renewable Energy Experts Meeting on 3 October 2018 which will feed into the Ministerial Meeting on 4 October 2018.

After 20 September, changes necessitated to existing registrations only will be possible through the IORA Secretariat. Delegations are urged to ensure that such requests are limited to the absolute minimum, only for unavoidable last-minute changes in the delegation composition.
Full hospitality (including return airfare, accommodation, all meals and local transportation) will be extended to the Minister plus one accompanying Expert from IORA Member States. Additional delegates (RE experts) nominated by a Member State’s National Focal Point are welcome to participate at own cost.
